"Stunning" doesn't even begin to describe the Fjaorargljufur canyon in Iceland. One of nature's masterpieces, and a likely destination on many people's bucket lists—and rightly so. A stitch of five separate HDR frames of three exposures each, for a total of 15 frames.

This five-image stitch aims to capture the raw, unbridled power of the Skógafoss waterfall, but it will always necessarily pale in comparison to the majesty of the original.

Water is exceedingly precious in Singapore, and the Marina Barrage—besides being a structural marvel and a popular recreational spot for the populace—is integral in ensuring that the country continues to have access to the resource.

Away from the dazzling, futuristic skyscrapers clustered within Singapore's central business district, new public housing buildings (HDB flats) spring up almost daily in the bustling heartlands.

Modern construction materials and verdant greenery collide harmoniously in the Li Ka Shing Library façade, one of the many architecturally striking buildings dotting SMU's city campus.

I was invited to shoot the interior of the Li Ka Shing Library when it reopened after a recent round of renovations. A spacious facility replete with cleverly-designed areas for quiet self-study and collaborative work.

The iconic Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) building sits around the corner of Clarke Quay, adding vibrance to an already-lively precinct.

One could probably argue that the striking building, which simply yearns to be photographed, grabs more attention than the actual organisation's policies!

Different photographers have different interpretations of what 'editorial-style' means, and I love the diversity that inevitably results. My approach constantly shifts as well, but one objective always stays true—to convey the subject's emotion and story.

Singapore's sixth President, Mr S. R. Nathan, visited the Singapore Management University campus shortly after the demise of Mr Lee Kuan Yew to sign a condolence book. I was privileged enough to witness, and document in pictures, the sombre event.

After taking studio portraits of the cast members, I was invited to cover the troupe's actual performance at Jubilee Hall, Raffles Hotel. It was truly a momentous occasion, as many avid opera fans flocked to the event, resulting in a packed house.

I particularly enjoy documenting events in their entirety. Oftentimes, the best shots don't come from the actual performances themselves, but from what transpires prior to the raising of the curtains. The excitement or apprehension that pervades these moments typically results in priceless photographs.

One of the most anticipated events of the year, the annual Night Festival sees flocks of enthusiastic arts-lovers descending on Singapore's historic arts and heritage precinct. In 2015, audiences were treated to an amazing visual spectacle in the form of "Garden of Angels" by the uber-talented Theater Tol.

SMU's commencement ceremonies are entertainment extravaganzas that aptly demonstrate the university's reputation as "A Different U".

I am adept at focus stacking and am capable of delivering tack-sharp images at well over 5x magnification. This technique can be applied very effectively to tiny objects, such as jewelry, microchips and so forth.

Caught this snap of a rather hirsute seed as it gracefully drifted by.

An inquisitive bee casting a quick glance at my camera en route to harvesting nectar.

While trapped under a shelter waiting for an unrelenting storm to clear, I noticed this little leaf suspended by a thin line of silk. It was flitting about leisurely, oblivious to the chaos raging around it. A tricky shot which certainly turned out better than I expected.
